Twentieth-Century Architecture, Preserved in Print

C20 is the magazine of the Twentieth Century Society, the UK's leading charity dedicated to the protection of architecture and design from the period 1914 onwards. The publication serves as both a journal of record and a campaigning tool, documenting the buildings, interiors, and designed landscapes of the twentieth century with a seriousness and visual quality that reflects the significance of its subject.

Each issue features in-depth articles on buildings under threat, profiles of architects and designers, historical research, and updates on the Society's campaigns to protect significant structures from demolition or unsympathetic alteration. The writing is scholarly but accessible, aimed at an audience that includes architects, historians, conservation professionals, and anyone who cares about the built environment of the recent past.

In a country where twentieth-century architecture is still routinely dismissed as ugly, expendable, or simply too recent to matter, C20 makes the case — issue after issue — that these buildings are part of the cultural heritage, and that losing them would be a loss we cannot afford.
