It is not. eye_C is a fashion and culture magazine based between Europe and New York, published by eye\_C media AS — a Norwegian registered company. The online platform launched first, building an audience of nearly 200,000 Instagram followers through daily coverage of menswear, streetwear, and the brands that operate at the intersection of function and design. In 2019, the team took the leap into print with its debut issue, Inventory Control, featuring Japanese label meanswhile on the cover alongside nanamica, Carhartt WIP, maharishi, BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS, and s.k. manor hill.

The editorial focus is on product and the people who design it — the kind of coverage that treats a well-made jacket or a considered fabric choice with the same attention a food magazine might give to a chef’s technique.
