Editorial Office:

UPPERCASE started as an experiment as an independent, ad-free magazine funded solely by its audience. The editor, a graphic designer by trade, sought to start her own journal to fill a gap in design publications. She envisioned a magazine with excellent design as its basis, but also one that drew inspiration from a wider range of sources, including the diverse realms of art, illustration, design, typography, and other crafts (with an appreciation of vintage, too). UPPERCASE has really lived up to its slogan, "for the creative and inquisitive."
