Eric Delehoy founded Gertrude Press in 1998 as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. As of today, Gertrude is the oldest continuous queer journal. More than 300 individuals from 35 states in the United States and 11 countries around the world have published their work with the editors. For artists and authors, the magazine serves as the springboard to a successful career, including tenure in a university and book publication.
