Joanne Meiyi Chan, a longstanding children's book editor and enthusiastic kid-lit lover, and her spouse, Mark Rogero, a designer and maker, launched ILLUSTORIA in 2016. They collaborated to establish Illustoria Magazine, a high-quality print monthly for creative kids and their adults to sit down and enjoy tales, art, and activities, as a response to our fast-paced, digital society. Illustoria is a print and online publication that emphasizes visual storytelling, makers, and DIY culture.
