The Slow Press is an independent food magazine focused on the fascinating tales behind the foods we consume.

The magazine aims to bring Singapore's colorful culinary legacy to the forefront via longform writing, design, illustration, photography, and videography in an introspective, but quirky and engaging manner. The editors wish to shine light on different perspectives on food in order to enable us properly appreciate the goodness that goes into our stomachs.

They are neither food reviewers or industry specialists, but they believe firmly in the power of communicating stories about and through food. There are no restaurant reviews or lists of the best places to dine. What you'll find in the zine are articles written with nothing less than our passion to providing insights into Singaporeans' varied and diverse connections with food.
