Discarded Magazine is an online photography magazine that investigates the nature of discarding images. Discarded debuted a new section, XXX, in 2021, devoted to a fresh perspective of modern sexual photography. Linda Zhengová, a photographer and writer, is the curator. This new part began as an open call, from which an online exhibition was born. The editors decided to transform XXX into a unique bi-annual print magazine due to the huge number of excellent entries and good audience reactions.
They are adamant that pornographic pictures involving the subjects of wants, sexuality, and photography in general be made public in order to remove the stigma that it has long borne. They think that with XXX printed magazine, they can present its readers with an intense and freeing visual experience regardless of where they are.
