In 2018, Year Zero was established in Istanbul. The journal was designed to capture the conflicts between generations, between tradition and what may come next, inspired by youngsters living in a city destabilized by change.
Today, change is all around us. A new environment of insecurity has evolved, one that we all share as a result of the pandemic's recent developments. For the first time in recent memory, it appears like we are all going through this process at the same moment, influenced by forces that drive us to restart, to return to zero.
