Monday OFF is a self-publishing brand created by curator BI Xin and artist YE Funa that focuses on the development of zines and art books, as well as the staging of associated exhibits, workshops, and talks under the sub-brand Mondayitis. They seek to shed light on the illusive borders of urban life, balancing the peripheral concerns of cities with popular consensus. Monday OFF is a zoom lens into our fast developing young culture, with the publication comprising of: 50% visual creativity, 40% text, and 10% commercial (their ads being playful, a montage of the real and spoof).
