Contemporary and underground art bible Juxtapoz Art & Culture Magazine is a quarterly publication published by High Speed Productions in San Francisco, California. Robert Williams, a painter, comic artist, and illustrator, founded the company in 1994 with a group of artists and illustrators. The journal focuses on issues concerning the visual arts. It was influential in the Lowbrow and Pop Surrealist art movements of the time, and it grew out of the counterculture to become one of the world's largest art magazines.
