According to the late Peter Lindbergh, “BLAU is like your favorite restaurant, at which you want to order each and every single dish.”

The now worldwide magazine, published twice a year and printed in German since 2015, is the new reference point for art journalism. Cornelius Tittel, the editor, has moved a step closer to realizing his aim of creating the world's most beautiful art magazine. It's a desire he's had since he was 13, when he dug out and dusted off numerous copies of apparently every German art magazine published after WWII in his uncle's garage.

The distinctive content of BLAU International includes scintillating stories and images from today's and yesterday's art worlds: studio visits with the most influential artists of our time, exclusive contributions by acclaimed writers such as Peter Handke, Hanya Yanagihara, and Julian Barnes, portraits by star photographers such as Jamie Hawkesworth, and fashion spreads styled by the renowned Marie Chaix. It's both a coffee-table magazine and a collector's item.
