Ark Journal investigates the places we inhabit, the items we place in them, and the people who create them. Ark presents architecture, design, and art as interaction rather than in silos, and with a sense of timeless Scandinavian principles and aesthetics. They value excellent ideas, honest and imaginative design, and foster critical thinking. In each issue, we visit amazing houses throughout the globe that are more than the sum of their parts and convey the unique tales, ideologies, and inspirations of the individuals who live in them. Ark Journal aspires to study architecture in the larger context of our lives by emphasizing its more humanistic aspect and appreciating tactility and individual characteristics.
